RegRunner is a program that watches for registry changes, and warns you about them. The program will take a snapshot of your Windows registry when it starts. If it detects any change, it will pop up a window, warning you and requesting you to take an action.

It will also check for new files in sensitive areas of your hard disk, like your root directory, the Windows folder and the Tasks folder. It will also look for new additions in the Startup folder. You can save a copy of the register at any time, and restore it using this program. It can also launch the RegEdit Windows’s program and “msconfig”, in order to view/edit the “config.sys”, “system.ini”, and “win.ini” files. As an add-on, you can configure the program to look for changes in certain system files or in specific registry entries.

The Taskman (task manager) tab will show you which tasks are currently being performed by the system. Right-clicking on any entry will allow you to ask, over the Internet, for details about that entry in either “processlibrary.com” or Google. When left-clicking on an entry, it will show you the properties of the file attached to it.

In brief, RegRunner is an excellent tool for protecting your system from undesired changes in very sensitive areas.
